The interior of The Crown at Pantygelli is currently open plan with a number of discrete areas for eating and drinking.   The pub is a free house which in recent years has gone from strength to strength and now regularly features in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide.   As well as up to 5 real ale handpumps you may also find at least one beer tapped straight from the barrel during the summer months.

Regular beers currently include Wye Valley Hereford Pale Ale, Rhymney Bitter and Bass and are supplemented by one or two guest beers.   With the real ales always served in first class condition, you will find the pub's enthusiasts are attracted from far and wide to sample both the regular brews and the selection of guest ales which are always supplied by small independent breweries.

Along with the fine ales and friendly service, the Crown at Pantygelli also offers the usual array of drinks with a selection of fine spirits, malt whiskies and liquors.   For those who prefer a non alcoholic drink then we also stock a good range of other quality soft drinks.

At the rear we have a large car-park and a paddock area on the lower slopes of the Sugar Loaf Mountain for travellers on horse-back.   So whilst touring locally, come and relax over a drink or two.

If you fancy a meal then all of our food is freshly prepared using the best of locally available ingredients and is served throughout the pub, being described in full on the Eating page.   Market conditions could well cause our range of food offered and the prices to vary slightly depending on season and availability.
